You should have been your response and walk into the police station to talk to his supervisor! It is a state law to stop for people in the crosswalks!

Time to tell your town they need more signage for crosswalks!

MVC in Wayne is just fine with print outs from online bills/banks, they are also just fine with your original unlaminated SSN card. I just did this a week ago there without issue.

Another nearby MVC is pickier...

>At Jersey unmarked corners, pedestrians must yield to vehicles

Vehicles are required to yield to pedestrians at both marked and unmarked crosswalks. Marked are self-explanatory, but an unmarked crosswalk is any intersection that doesn't have a sign that prohibits crossing.

We also don't have jaywalking laws per-se. You can cross outside of crosswalks/intersections (e.g. crossing in the middle of a 1 lane road), but the pedestrian is required to yield to vehicles and they can be ticketed for failure to yield.

I frequently walk to places in my area, and have considered carrying a squirt gun filled with gak-like fluid so I can tag non-stoppers. I like your stick idea.

So you mean to tell me people that are paid to investigate crime, didn’t realize a white supremacist Nazi covered in tattoos was working amongst them until basement dwelling redditors alerted them to it? My god they look incompetent or complicit.

101 boardwalk is at the very north end of the boardwalk. I’ve jogged, walked through that area and inland in the morning and night without any issues. No idea what 101 itself is like. YMMV, suggest getting a hotel room and walk around for yourself.

Hey!

Welcome to the area, we’re not far from you! It takes some doing, but going to bars and just talking until people stick works. Being a little flexible on age range to strike up a convo with too is a good idea. My husband and I met a bunch of our friends that way, we’re 26/27 and our friends are a few years younger and we met them at a bar nearby. Husband didn’t know a soul when we moved here and now he’s got golf bros lol

I get it though, most of my girl friends live elsewhere too, and it sucks trying to branch out when in the suburbs because it feels like most people have found their niche or aren’t interested in befriending new people

Carry a stout walking stick and strike any part of the car you can reach as he drives by. When he stops, immediately charge him with assault with a deadly weapon, assault with intent to kill, reckless driving, and anything else you can think of to add to the complaint.

Irvington is kind of notorious. Perhaps it's on the upswing, that I do not know, but if it hasn't, I'd definitely pass on Irvington.
