Hairy bittercress. Neither hairy, nor bitter, it's actually a tasty salad green if the area hasn't been sprayed for pesticides.

So someone that stayed in school to earn their PHD and earn a larger income shouldn’t enjoy it or she deserves hate? Is it her fault she’s paid what she’s paid?
If a doctor goes to school and earns his degree and opens his own practice and becomes wealthy is he an asshole for driving a Bentley to work when the nurses drive Hondas?
Like that is such a ridiculous take. She’s entitled to earn and make money. Superintendents earn more. That’s the way it is all across America. They earn more because they take on a ton of responsibilities. They aren’t just showing up to meetings once a month.
If that’s honestly your threshold I’d have to say you’re a rather hateful person.

It should be, and I'm sure it varies from state to state, but in NJ, it's not absolute. Here's a good description of what I've seen:

I live in a neighboring town of piscataway. We are one hour away from everything or a little more than that. New York city, the shores, Philadelphia are all just an hour away. Any major Transit is close but you'll need to take an Uber to a train station in a neighboring town like Dunellen, Bound Brook, or New Brunswick. Feel free to reply to me if you have any specific questions about the area or need guidance.

Hell most of the time pedestrians in NYC don't even look before they cross let alone look for a sign. I kind of miss living in the city, NJ does not have a walking culture which is pretty sad.

Madison is great. Train to Morristown/NYC. Lots to do in the area.

Everyone has their heads up their own asses and think they're more important than everyone else. How else do you describe the extreme amount of tailgating to get to their destination 2 minutes earlier?

Reply to NJM car insurance worth the switch by Cashneto
I have Geico for the cars and NJM for homeowners. Never had any issues with either. Although NJM raised our rates after I put in a claim for some water damage. Might look to someone else for the house. Only claim with Geico was fast, deer hit my car, Geico paid right away, didn't even look at the car, just accepted the repair estimate.

I get it. I really do and don’t think it’s a bad idea. But why start (and stop) with shopping bags? There is so much more plastic waste on the 20 things you put into one shopping bag. Or your Starbucks coffee cup/lids that they aren’t mandating you use reusable for.

Reply to Summer Housing in Whippany - HELP by Fries2527
I know this sounds funny but last fall, a homeless woman rolled-up into our town and someone raised housing funds for her through gofundme, and they put her up at the Hyatt House Parsippany-Whippany for like six months in a suite that had like a full kitchen, etc.

Thanks for the write up! Forgot to mention that I’m probably living with a friend so budget may be more flexible for a 2br. But yeah “worst case” I just end up living at fdu which is no big deal.

:-? It also said on the site (I'm beginning to think I shouldn't believe anything I read on there!) that they won't accept a bank stmt AND a credit card statement. Were they implying "from the same bank"?

Reply to comment by throwawaybad25 in Visiting New Jersey Piscataway to find my long lost friend by [deleted]
So you’re in Piscataway, now what? Do you know their address? Do you have any other way of contacting them other than the phone? Did they acknowledge you were trying to visit them?
You may not mean it but this just sounds creepy. I can’t imagine going to another country for a lost friend I haven’t communicated with in a year, guessing and searching for where they might be…
