If I see someone waiting at a crosswalk and I have time to stop, I will stop and let them go 100% of the time. I'll even take the extra steps of hitting my hazard lights and blocking the middle of the lane so jackasses won't try to drive around, which has happened to me on multiple occasions.

People do make it really hard sometimes, though. Love it when someone is power walking down the sidewalk and then takes a quick 90 degree turn directly into the street with no warning and without looking.

I dropped NJM after 20 years. It’s a long story. I concur with the above comment on them being outdated. I got more perks and the same coverage with Allstate. I was always on the phone with NJM as they kept cranking my replacement cost estimate for no reason.

oh absolutely, overpackaging is ridiculous. One of the ones I find most stupidly ironic is Impossible Burgers. They go on about how environmentally friendly they are as opposed to actual meat, which is probably true, but then it's in this absurd plastic blister-pack thing...there's got to be a better way to do that. I guess they have to start somewhere with this stuff though, and shopping bags are probably one of the easiest (comparatively) things to go after.

I have had Geico for my car for almost 20 years and their customer service has been great. I also have roadside assistance on my policy which is very simple to use through the Geico app.

I am a little late to the party but I am a librarian here in NJ and I just ordered "You Will Find Your People: How to Make Meaningful Friendships as an Adult" for my collection. The reviews in the journals were very positive, might be something worth checking out of your local library when it's published on April 26th.

Not sure if you’re near central Jersey, but the Red, White & Blue thrift store will happily take your donations.

Also from my own experience trying to sell on poshmark, it is very difficult unless you’re constantly getting new inventory or constantly updating/monitoring your listings. Was more of a hassle than anything helpful. Plus you’re left with practically no $$ once poshmark takes their cut of each sale.

She didn’t present evidence though. She just told her version of a story. That’s it. Absent of proof… I’m not about to just sign a petition to remove someone’s job based on a 5 minute video where two people clearly don’t like each other.

I also could care less about your mom and her colleagues opinions on their boss. Like 90% of the working world hates their boss. It’s not some random concept, and her being a shitty person still doesn’t “prove” that she’s not within her right to vehemently deny someone who is lying about her.

Again I don’t know the full story. And neither does anyone else here. It’s kinda appalling so many people are willing to call for this woman’s job based solely on her appearance and her reaction to a lot of serious accusations
