Reply to NJM car insurance worth the switch by Cashneto
Two data points: I've been with NJM for 20 years or so, got into a single-car accident a couple of winters ago and they paid for all-new OEM parts within like 48 hours, premium didn't increase by a penny. A colleague of mine had GEICO, got rear-ended on the Turnpike (100% not their fault), got the run-around for months to get reimbursed. YMMV

👏👏👏 That's great. This plant looks like field pennycress IIRC. It can get out of hand very quickly. It's better than turf, but native plants are the best.

$1250/month in Montclair? Not going to happen.
You can't really get anything for that low without living in the ghetto.
You'll probably be paying at least 1900-2000 per month in any decent town after all the fees are added on.
I definitely recommend West/South Orange, and MORRISTOWN/Morris Plains.
To be honest, if you get a good living situation in Madison, take it. It's only 10-15 minutes from Downtown Morristown (which has tons of restaurants, bars and amazing walkable streets)

Best? Helicopter between hospitals, duh. 2nd best depends on if this is a one time trip or reoccurring.

One of the issues now is that Chanley is getting rid of the athletic director because he refused to hire her husband the history teacher as football coach.

This is just sound advice for a pedestrian, a cyclist, a motorcyclist, and a driver. Can't assume people out there have your safety in their minds.

She didn’t earn her PhD though, she just lied about having one. Even though the taxpayers paid for her to get one three different times.

I have had a meh experience with NJM.
They also were one of the lowest cost for insurance companies. progressive jacked my rates up almost 250% even though I didn't get into any accidents or have any tickets.
NJM has a discount where they have you install their safe driver app. it is really terrible. it constantly doesn't work and drains your battery in the background. I would suggest installing it on a dummy cell phone that you rarely use and dont ever bring with you. their safe driver app is insanely critical. I have no idea how it grades driving but it constantly will ding you for any acceleration or sudden stops.
Also unfortunately I had my first accident and I tried to talk or call the adjuster that NJM assigned me. they were unreachable. they would take up 1-2 weeks to respond to any emails or voicemails.
I just would caution with NJM. you pay for what you get. don't expect good customer service and their smart phone app is terrible.

Oh they'll give it, right on the BS citation you're getting now because their ego was challenged.
Here's the counseling: "You got a complaint from some Karen. Don't worry, we ain't gonna do shit about it"

It’s weird I’ve never had issues with geico and they never bothered me even when I had a fender bender; they just paid the claim. My premium didn’t go up so I was like huh maybe I’m just paying an exorbitant amount. I got a quote from NJM (which I use for home), and their policy was $700 more for two people. I have no idea how or why.

I've been with NJM over 15 years. I never had a problem reaching someone and they've taken care of two accidents for me.

Do not plant hostas if you live in an area that has deer. Deer will eat the leaves and they don't grow back until the next year. They destroy mine every year. I usually wait until late April before planting anything in the ground.

Piscataway or Plainfield is your best bet for renting, cheapest in the area. Piscataway itself probably has 10+ complexes. My particular complex has a relatively easy application, less requirements than other places. 3x rent w/ paystubs, credit check, etc. although that was almost 3 years ago so it could have changed.

What is your montly budget?
I'd also check out apartment buildings in plainfield. How long are you willing to commute? Keep in mind travel times at 7-8am are VASTLY longer than travel times lunchtime, late at night, etc. Linden could be 40 minutes away from Plainfield (high school).
I'd recommend looking into apartment buildings in Plainfield too, there's a good amount there, and you'd obviously be close.
Other than living in Plainfield, more good town choices would be North & South Plainfield, Northern Edison, Piscataway, and Colonia (in woodbridge)..
