My husband was at work and I was alone.So was the man who knocked on the door, but he was super aggressive and had this sense of annoyance and urgency - he really made me second-guess myself. (As I type this, I'm still questioning whether he might have been an actual employee). But at the time I wasn't even sure whether it was a utility company we used because we had just moved here from Canada (to a house that was vacant) and things were still getting sorted. Hmmm. It was probably scammy or worse.

It’s an urban district and seeing that you have experience in Memphis, you should be ok. I teach in an urban district in Middlesex county that is always looking for ESL teachers, if Plainfield doesn’t work out for you.
