Oh cool, my area lost power nearly first and we’re going to be last with power.

That’s my neighbor. I let her plug into my generator for a heater. Hopefully today we get power.

The argument is that the 2nd amendment says nothing about being “certified” to being able to buy a gun AND the people who fought against the British Empire during the American Revolutionary War weren’t exactly all certified officers prior to switching sides many were rural farmers

Ukraine is a sovereign democracy we are allied with being invaded by a totalitarian regime with imperial ambitions.
You sound like the cursed love child of a Stalinist Tankie and a MAGA white-supremacist.

I saw a picture of an engineering building, undamaged and surrounded by rubble from buildings destroyed in the quake.

Right, at least they can protest (I kinda see this as more an anti-war/stop the killing protest rather than an Pro-russia protest). But even putting flowers on a statue in russia will get you thrown in the gulag, or worse.

In the Philly area, I actually saw a few weak flakes today, which is a rarity this year. Our season snow total stands at a ridiculously low 0.3” and that little dusting melted within a few hours. An average year for us should total 21” of snow. Instead, in February, we’ve had many days in the 60’s and a few in the 70’s. It’s just wrong.

Each one of these responses gets worse. Just disappeared, that is scary. Meanwhile, these Germans protestors probably go home and enjoy Bratwursts, beer, and a Bundesliga game.

Copy-paste a part of the article for whom it may be behind a firewall:
>The California Lottery says this is not true and released the following statement in response to the allegations:
>“When it comes to the vetting process for big winner, California Lottery has the utmost confidence in its process for doing so. California Lottery remains confident that Edwin Castro is the rightful winner of the $2.04 billion prize stemming from the Powerball drawing in November of 2022.”
>Carolyn Becker, deputy director of communications for the Lottery, told the Pasadena Star-News that the Lottery carries out an extensive investigation to verify winners. This includes having the claimant corroborate facts about how the ticket was purchased, verifying the physical ticket and in some cases reviewing surveillance footage of the store where the winning ticket was purchased

Not trying to downplay it or anything, but myself and most people in California literally don't feel 3s, let alone having it shake your bed. Maybe if you near the epicenter.
