Well, some of the documents found were from when Biden was VP. So he did have them when he was not in office.
That said, it looks like an oversite on Biden's part, they informed the required parties and returned them immediately after being discovered. trump deliberately took, and refused to acknowledge he had them, refused to return the classified documents, and the government had to go get them after he was in office. And they keep finding more and more. A pretty big difference.

There was one about ten years or so ago that was around 4 - 4.5 I think, it happened in the middle of the night and I found myself on my feet as what felt like the whole world shook for a brief while, and then I went back to sleep when it stopped. I thought tbh it was a very strange lucid dream I had had in the morning until I saw the news, because there was just no frame of reference for my brain to really process it, especially from sleep in the dead of night.
In the daytime I maybe would have guessed but it would have been more scary also because of it.
Using that as a frame of reference I genuinely think that the big quakes some countries get must be just unbelievably scary. The idea the mass of the earth can just shiver, is something you can think of intellectualy but not actually viscerally understand until it happens to you.

It's fine. We're currently experiencing a blizzard and I'd imagine people in MD could handle that much better than us.

I definitely think we should require training/certification before a gun can be purchased, just make the classes/tests free and easily accessible. Adding gun safety and education to public school curriculum can be helpful too.

Regardless of how prohibition laws ultimately played out, how can you say that not a lot of thought went into them? Can you predict the future and only make decisions that pan out? Prohibition laws also went through a lot of thought, discussion, and public participation. The US is a country supposedly governed by laws, and in a democracy those laws can evolve over time. Did you think of that?
Also, you do know that legislative funding bills for programs are separate from the program's basis, right? It appears that you didn't know that. Funding bills usually occur annually and can change with the political winds.
Are you suggesting that one person came up with these laws and implemented them, rather than what actually happened?
>Politicians are not philosophers, and the only thing differentiating them from diapers is the amount of shit inside.
Nobody said that politicians are philosophers. Also, I can tell the difference between a politician and a diaper. If you can't, perhaps you don't have a lot of thinking capabilities.
Where am I, at the Elks Lodge?

When my Dad died I got a nice bit of money and a co worker ask to borrow $600. He was a good dude and probably would have paid me back, but fuck no was my answer. I was lucky that it's just my brother and I and we are really close so no issues dividing things up.

If this would prevent WW3 as you say, why not do something more than send cash over there? Weapons help. Troops help. If it's anything like the COVID PPP loans it will go to the wrong people. You have more faith in the govt than I.

They'll most lushly be fine. There hasn't been a fatal accident on a Soyuz for over 50 years, since Soyuz 11 back in 1971. They are like 120 launches more without any catastrophic accidents. It is a primitive craft in many ways, but easily the most reliable spacecraft in human history.

I think he had a working Soyuz module. So he could have dipped at any time.
New podcast about him just dropped, called the last soviet. I think I'm going to have a listen, because it really was a fascinating story.
