If you lived in a Welsh valley beneath a slag heap left over from coal mining, you might worry more.

If tomorrow Biden said that no more aid should go to Ukraine, within minutes the maga crowd would be pushing for more aid to be sent.

Not distance. It typically depends on how "soft" the grounds are.
Cities build on solid rock foundation don't shake as much compared to those on looser soils.

I just have realized that my initial refusal to examine religion at all in my younger years because ' oh its stupid' was locking me off to knowledge and understanding. And it was limiting me..
And I knew that I felt empty, and that my art gave me purpose. As I delved into my art. I saw more things that I could not explain or quantify.
Tarot card readers who would sit there and read my psyche in ways that psychologists would weep at. Palm readers and numeroloists who did the same.
And I had to think to myself there has to be a reason for the introspection
I don't know if I'm making sense. I just know.that my life has become different because I change how I thought.
Im.sorry if I angered you. I just....
Sorry.

I know this is a joke but the guy is likely already facing a sentence of 20-30 years minimum already. The campaign finance violations may only add a few years onto that when its all said and done.

Doing intake with the client and their family and following the entire case from beginning to the end.... I didn't use the word 'expert', which actually does apply here. She didn't say, but sounds like she saw hundreds of cases. If out of two hundred cases she could have reasonably managed (taking a conservative guess - she saw intake calls rise from 10 to 70 per month) a dozen ended badly, would be six percent. That's a large number and numbers don't fully convey suffering of each individual.
It should raise red flags that only a couple of doctors are involved in approving surgery and hormones with life altering consequences, including loss of fertility for woman, and a lifetime of health problems for many, due to the powerful systematic effects of the medicines involved.
Letting kids pull the trigger on these procedures... I don't think you read the article. You don't think anything odd about groups of girls from the same high school suddenly coming in and saying we're actually boys. In my opinion, hormones and surgery don't make them boys any more than plastic surgery made Michael Jackson look white or Mary Tyler Moore look young.
Historically, most people who wanted to be the other or both sexes, just dressed and acted and lived the part.

How does this process suck? Its taking pictures vs shipping the item back (which you usually need to do).

If I had kept an objective view of the world, I would have given up on everything I wanted to do. The things I engage in do not harm others, and allow me a sense of peace and tranquility. It has also made me more.empathetic and emotionally aware.
I also recognize that certain beliefs were injurious to health, and simply didn't make sense. So I kept the things that were beneficial to me and made sure to avoid and ignore the things that were stupid.

Here in Japan, we’re pretty used to it. It’s crazy at first. Everything is shaking around you and everyone is just going about their day.
Now I’ll be sitting here gaming and ignoring my shelves swaying back and forth a bit.

The EPA can only act with the authority it’s given and issue fines in accordance to laws. I agree that the EPA needs to be more diligent, but the laws need to change and penalty structures replaced to actually reflect the cost of these disasters.

Your interpretation means that regular citizens can't own firearms. That's ok if you and your little army friends think that, but you know that's never how it's been done here right? Like never.

I believe they meant that whatever was up there has literally 'fallen down' by now. While that would mean that the threat is no longer present in the air to fall further.....it's now contaminating wherever it landed.
Future evapouration of already-fallen, contaminated water that was mixed with whatever those chemicals were shouldn't cause the contaminants to come back up with it.

I only lived there for 5 years, it was always super disconcerting. But you're lucky that nothing bad happened in 33 years! I know people who were not so lucky in 94.
