So an anti-war left really does exist.
Just not in the USA.

Deprivation of rights under color of law is a federal crime that can carry the death penalty.
Too bad the feds are too timid to charge criminals with crimes unless it involves shooting families over missed court dates or burning children alive
Edit: those were references to ruby ridge and the waco siege

Bill and Microsoft definitely felt the pressure though. He had to say everything right for 12-hours, it was the opposite of inconsequential for someone interested in Microsoft themselves and how they skirted anti-trust rules and other regulations - a master class. They actually legitimately went after him. Nothing changing isn't true, they don't even go through with these kind of depositions anymore, that means it's gotten worse.

I liked the part where they drank the “local water”, you bet that pulled water is relabelled and sent somewhere else.

The Richter scale is a shitty way to judge what people actually experience. The key factor is the depth, which I rarely see reported in the news. You can have a relatively low magnitude quake near the surface that causes a lot of shaking or a high magnitude quake quite deep that doesn’t. This one was VERY shallow (1.8mi deep) which explains why such a low magnitude quake felt so strong to those folks.
Here in Japan we use the Shindo scale which measures intensity at the surface. I really wish the rest of the world would adopt it because it makes it very simple for people to comprehend just how bad a quake was in a particular area.
To put things in perspective, we experience M3+ quakes on a very frequent basis without feeling anything at the surface.

I lost a lottery ticket here in Australia whilst walking from the Train station..A week later a neighbout told me they won $1 Million. I joled with him if he found the ticket it was mine. He laughed and would not answer. My bad luck if he did find my ticket and won..He never stole it from.me
