Well that's because food prices aren't included in core CPI, neither are energy prices. They're considered "too volatile".

I don't think they ever asked for your sympathy. People can decide how they want to spend their money in a free market economy and they not only spend their money on things that they need but also on things that they want.

They probably know his “rap name” but not his real name.

So the Wikipedia article is a little confusing, but apparently the Roman calendar actually began with the spring equinox in March, so the Ides of March would fall on the 15th by either counting method.
The Julian calendar added two months, but that's where I'm getting confused with the extent of its other reforms, and whether it began with January or March.
However, the central point you are making still stands: "Ides" simply means "the middle," so it would either be the 15th or the 13th of a given month, so "Double Middle" would make no sense in any timekeeping context.

What a ridiculous thing to spend that on! What? To wear it? Look at it? Have a fake made cuz you’re afraid someone would cut your finger off for it?

Just wait till it gets delivered to a dealership who then sees you as ripe for another screw job. Many news articles exist of insane dealership "just because we can" markups. I wouldn't be surprised if someone who actually gets one of these ends up paying $150K when it's all said and done.

That’s price gouging in effect. Eggs manufacturers reporting 700% increases in profits isn’t inflation.

Same my mortgage is $875 a month. I just can not justify spending that if more on a vehicle and this was going to be a farm truck, which for me, means I would put maybe 1000 miles a month on it max. Even generally using it, it would probably last forever, I still can’t justify that cost.

To be fair you could say that about any lithium ion battery product. The bigger the battery the bigger the risk.
Even going with major brands won't guarantee anything, pretty much every company that has made a significant amount of bespoke lithium ion battery products has had a recall or two for overheating problems.
Also gasoline isn't much better. Dense energy storage is just naturally volatile, almost like it has lot of stored energy.
