She was kidnapped in November and now suddenly they want to get off their asses?
Also how much for the dog?

If you made one cent last year in profit, but made eight cents this year it is a 700% increase in profit. Percent increases in profit don’t matter because they tell you absolutely nothing. Increases in revenue tell the story.

To be fair, most alligators do not respond to wrestling with heroic poetry uttered in iambic pantameter.

Didn’t you see the video? The had on normal vests that they wear throughout their normal shift. Not exactly armor. I bet an expert special forces/Navy seal could have taken the shooter down with no firearm. He’d need some cover fire, though.

Probably not the cartels that did it.The cartels are very keen to not have the US park an aircraft carrier in the sea of Cortez and start droning the shit out of them.

To add, the US and UK have also pledged to defend these countries should they be attacked during this application process.

Likely. "Muddying the waters" has always been a popular information warfare tactic.

The cartels will be offering 100,000 as ransom though, so I don’t know…. Maybe there is an arbitrage opportunity here?

With the acceptance of Finland to NATO, Russia has effectively been blocked from attacking Sweden without a response from NATO. In addition the formation of a coordinated air defense between the Nordic Countries will be an effective deterrent to any Russian aggression. So Sweden has effectively become a NATO member without having to kowtow to Erdogan.

That was also originally the ideal of the American Mall. It was pioneered by some folks who thought Malls were an ideal utopia-like system.
Then capitalism turned them into dystopias instead. They were turned into tax havens for millionaires and billionaires to hide their money in.

The terrible thing is even if the Uvalde officers walked in shot a kid and then the shooter and saved literally anyone in that classroom it still would have been better than what they failed to do.

I don't disagree. The context of that particular story does matter though. Cal-Maine Foods could have taken a smaller profit, but they didn't. They took full advantage and exploited the supply shock, but they could only do that because they didn't lose any production themselves.
Their unwillingness to step back from profit kept the egg prices high.

The Fed is looking at core PCE ex housing. Housing isn't a part of the formula.
