We moved there in the early 2000s, those security upgrades happened long before we moved in (I think at least a decade). We were told a wealthy older woman (which was like 80% of the neighborhood population demographic…) was assaulted years earlier which prompted the upgrades to all the homes in the community.

One of the theories about why Qanon was pushed so heavily in right was to help cover up international sex trafficking.
It may have been a way to hurt actual child trafficking investigations by flooding the system with claims and forcing investigators to decipher what was real and false. In fact there are actual stories about the movement hurting operations.

Given the orgins of Qanon it would make sense. Jim Watkins the suspected creator of the conspiracy theory at one point was hosting a CP site.

No. Not even a little. A movie set does not have to (and should not have to) follow the standard gun safety rules because their business often relies on handling firearms in an 'unsafe' manner.
Movies use a different set of rules, usually involving armourers, propmasters, assistant directors and other staff ensuring the safety of weapons on the set, and, most importantly, accepting liability in the case of an incident.
If I were an armourer on a movie set, I wouldn't want some stupid actor fucking around and tinkering and checking MY gun. If I have liability for that gun, you do not fuck with it because that's my ass on the line.

It’s cute you think the US would do that for a single average citizen. Deluded, but cute.

I don’t get why people think this is a possibility lol
It’s such US jingoism to think that the US would go to war so easily, especially in what’s considered an ally country like Mexico.
Yes, they’ll likely escalate pressure on Mexico, and also push for joint efforts to tackle on cartel issues if it became an endemic problem where cartel war was spilling over the border. M
However, crimes happening IN Mexico to US citizens the response would be so muted to the point of seeming ineffective much like what we see now.

Based on what the child’s family is claiming, he should be charged and if convicted, not just drummed out of the Corps but do some actual time for it.

She’s probably dead by now. The cartels don’t give a shit about women and see them as sex slaves.
