Since, you know, that all of these experiences have already happened to you in your childhood, shouldn't you have done the same as your brother and sell the house altogether? Just because you can't see something, doesn't mean that it's not there! Your coming back to your childhood home was a grave mistake, IMHO... Sorry, for your loss...
