Corporate America has never placed ethics ahead of profits, in fact, if ethics were found to have hurt a corporations bottom line, the CEO would be exposed to legal action from the investors.
It is fucking shameful, and if corporations are to be considered "people" under the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, then they should be subject to the same laws and rules as the rest of us...not just the ones that let them hoard more wealth.
Greedy fucking pigs.

That other religion just isn't popular enough in the U.S. to get that kind of attention. You're seeing so much pushback toward Christianity right now because its extremists have become a legitimate danger here.

All these leftist academic types are just exposing their own subconscious racism when they admit that words like 'field' and others they want banned make them think about black people.

Well, yes, but we can’t have nice politicians. Nobody wants to be punished for their actions and we’ve seen how the justice system refuses to reprimand any person in power beyond a slap on a wrist.
This is just another case of voting for the lesser of two evils.

I mean, the only thing you said that's actually true is you insinuating that Muslims would have taken it worse. I agree with that. But it sounds like you have an persecution complex. Christians are very very NOT thick-skinned (as evidenced by the subject we're discussing here). They are clearly not "insulted and belittled all over the place" (outside of the internet, maybe).
I think you may be forgetting that we have eyes and ears. We can hear and see what Christians say and do. So your gaslighting attempt, while cute, isn't really helping your case.
And, to be clear, I'm not saying ALL Christians are like this. Just the majority ones I've personally seen and dealt with.
But the persecution complex thing has got to go. You're not persecuted. you're the vast and loudest majority of any group on planet Earth. FFS...

> The wait was so long that it actually made more sense for her to risk travelling back to a war zone to see her doctor in Kyiv and so she did.
Americans go to Tijuana all the time, but it's actually way more dangerous than Kyiv is right now, if you crunch the numbers:
- Tijuana's murder rate is 0.13% per year (the official 2019 numbers)
- The war's danger to Ukrainian civilians was 0.11% in 2022 (based on the highest estimate I've seen of 40,000 civilians killed out of about 36,000,000 currently there)
When your location is out of range of field artillery, as Kyiv is right now, you are statistically much safer. Some say you are safer in Tijuana if you are a tourist, but I'm not so sure, personally. It's certainly something they tell the tourists though.
