For people who don't want to go through an ugly website, someone posted a video on the subject of some of their advertising.

  1. Literally bribed some game journalists via cheques - real money, by the way. Greed.
  2. Made a fake game ad about a fake game about going to church. Heresy.
  3. Made a 'Sin to Win' by trying to get people to be lustful at Comicon for cash and....other 'pleasures'. Obviously, Lust and Greed.
  4. Rick-Rolled other games journalists. With a box. That would only stop of the box was violently destroyed - hammer provided in the parcel. Wrath.
  5. Church protestors were going around a gaming convention talking about how satanic the game is. Except the Church was fake, and the protestors may or may not have all been paid actors. Lies and MORE Heresy.

Ok a few things - even if that number is accurate, that’s all allergens, not one specific one.

The contains list isn’t a problem. That’s not what we are talking about. We are talking about changing food to accommodate, or banning certain things, or other actions of that nature. We are talking about people not wanting the ingredient in the food because too many contain it.

Yeah man have them get their liberal arts degree and then they can go to an engineering school and pick up the last 12 hours. I mean that's the point of a university, right? Is it a uniting force of several colleges so that a broad base of study can be completed by students who want various disciplines?

I mean... that's way too broad of a judgement there. It really depends on what they want to go to school for and what the school in question is. If they wanted to go to a good engineering school, for example, and I worked for a primarily liberal arts college without a real engineering program, it's not really a feasible option for them to attend.

What's your point? My comment was a partial quote from the article with commentary, and food sensitivity. People are jumping on and downvoting me because they think I'm calling for people with actual life-threatening allergies to die. The conclusions these assholes jump to are amazing.

Given that 85 million Americans are living with life threatening allergies and intolerances (according to FARE, the biggest food allergy research and advocacy organization, seems a bit high, designed to shock you, but whatever), it seems like 25% of your population having an issue that can cause death without good information is a societal problem.

As for whether adding sesame to the "Contains" list is "bending over", hell no. We already do it for 8 allergens, what is the big deal with adding a 9th?

And don't get me started on the number and extreme lengths I have to go to in order to accommodate society for my food allergies. The only issue is that I have kept them so well hidden that most people won't notice.

It's not necessarily about the scientists it's about having the voice (or paying for it) to push it in the public or out of the public.

You can be right as much as you want but if you'll get big money after you because of where your right about some single voices at best won't get heard.
