It seems like he just craves any kind of public attention, which is... really sad. I suspect he is probably aware on some level that there's no good ending to this. But saying "Guys I'm gonna do a totally not festival" puts him into the headlines again and that's all he needs. I don't think all the jail time, fines or public outrage in the world could deter him from trying to get into the spotlight again for another ten minutes.

If you read the article it's clear that he's incapable of preventing himself from misleading people to generate short term buzz. He's subtly promising it's going to happen in the Bahamas despite the Bahamas already explicitly stating "No,and If you set foot here you'll be arrested"

3rd Party Liability laws are no joke. I was a bartender in Washington State for years and I never had the misfortune of dealing with that shit as I never had a problem cutting motherfuckers off, but even being a responsible bartender isnt always gonna protect you 100% of the time.

I see what you're trying to say. But most of the world is not doing better than the U.S in terms of regulating capitalism. Sadly. Guessing you live somewhere in Europe. That's good for you.

Take a look at Latin America, Africa, Southeast Asia, West Asia, China, Middle East, Eastern Europe (most of the world by population). And you will find rampantly unregulated, capitalist influenced politics across the board. You will find actual slavery. Human rights abuse. Corruption. Ecological destruction. Massive socioeconomic stratification. All on a level much more intense than what can be found in the U.S.

Places like India, Philippines, China, Brazil, Mexico, Russia, just to name a few big ones that come to mind. People immigrate from these places to the U.S and it aint for the good weather.

This coming from a Canadian, which, while we try to run a mixed system here also, people still get exploited a bit on the lower end of the pay scale.

I laughed with the second video where you can see through the car. That is basically a huge shell with really tiny mechanical parts.

It's like buying a lawnmower and then retrofitting a Lamborghini body on it.

Plus, a 2000 Toyota Corolla engine? An engine that has 4 cylinders? Even if you modify the shit out of it, you'll probably get... What 200 horsepower?

I really don't understand what they're trying to do here.

Even down here in America its a risky business, one of my local bars had their liquor license revoked entirely due to over serving, after not one but two occasions of drunk patrons leaving their bar crashed their cars and died. Theres definitely a degree of responsibility
