Cyberpunk 2077 predicted it, the response of rich people to the increasingly unstable world their greed has created is to start selling armored luxury cars for the rich and upper-middle-class so that the consequences aren't their problem.

Wow, another Republican abusing power and bending the rules to suit himself and family. Let me guess, he's one of these guys who runs on how the government is broken and only he can fix it.

Huh, I think I may be getting things jumbled. I think it was the noise made after season 2, when yeah Syfy dropped it and Prime picked it up I was thinking of. Derp.
I remember something about there being a 30 year gap between where events are in the series, vs the next point in book. Sooo maybe in a couple more years it could pick up again.

I have yer to see one feature on a “smart” appliance that I would use, and the damn thing is collecting data on me and not paying me for it, no. Hell, I use a computer monitor instead of a television because you can still get them without microphone and cameras.

I was forced to, to set the clock on my range. The clock. There is NO way to do it on the Samsung without putting a f**king app on my phone and hooking to the wifi.

i know i wouldn't.
i like complete privacy in an appliance, and for them to keep their opinions to themselves.

The article said that at 40+mph 100% of SUV crashes resulted in a pedestrian death, compared to 50% of normal car crashes. It sounds like a new definition of ‘street legal’ already needs to be made

If you want to emulate something from the Singapore criminal justice system, emulate their strong focus on the rehabilitation and reintegration of ex-offenders into society instead of their caning policy which has existed since the 19th century and has done nothing to reduce recidivism.
