It's got no document origination software on it apart from Notepad and Wordpad. I have actually created a doc on it before I remembered I couldn't print from it, and had to email it so I could print it from my phone.

My ancient (7+ years) Toshiba laptop, which cannot downgrade to Win11, has its own issue with the printer since the firmware update. It may be related to shifting IP addresses. If it has been a while since I printed from it, I have to uninstall and reinstall the printer before the computer can connect to it.

Huh, I wonder if there's a Samsung printer app for laptops, since my Android phone prints perfectly using that. And it's not even a Samsung phone.

Reason for the lawsuit:

BMG’s lawyer alleges that “My Poops” infringes on Black Eyed Peas’ surprise 2005 hit single, “My Humps,” 75% of whose publishing rights belongs to BMG thanks to a corporate acquisition.

The suit claims — and a review of each song’s Genius annotation confirms — that the two compositions bear a strong resemblance.

“First, the title of the infringing work is ‘My Poops,’ which is an obvious play on the name of the copyrighted composition, ‘My Humps,'” wrote BMG’s lawyer, Seth L. Berman, of Abrams Fensterman LLP.

Berman goes on to list other similarities, including the melody, countermelody, lyrics, chord progression and the use of a lead singer who “uses a similar delivery and vocal inflections as used by Fergie on the original sound recording.”

Welcome to todays entertainment world - it’s either a wild viral sensation or it ain’t worth shit. The creative industry these days only cares about the BIGGEST moneymakers, nothing can be “steadily chugging along”

It’s really frustrating because that means everything is going to be forced to fall into the “winning formula” in order for any meaningful distributor to pay attention and promote it making entertainment monotonous and boring
