Chickens weigh an average of 7.5 pounds and lets assume they can generate enough lift to barely get off the ground so lift = weight = 7.5 pounds

The cost of chicken is around $1.50 per pound in Chicago. So homegirl stole approximately 1 million pounds of chicken or 133,333 chickens.

1 million pounds of chicken equals 1 million pounds of lift force. So she stole enough chickens to lift several M1 Abrams tanks. Puts into perspective just how much she stole. Or puts into perspective that chicken powered flight would be cheap af.

This article is literally the epitome of pointless culture war crap.

"Several people in a Coventry Facebook group complained about the restaurant being called Woke"

That's the story.

I'm genuinely not sure what's dumber. The 'several people' who bothered commenting about something so stupid on Facebook. Or the fact the Guardian have dedicated a whole article to what several people wrote on a Facebook group.

One would think it would be easy to find given how radioactive it is. A geiger counter mounted on a vehicle should go off when passing it. The article mentions it was part of some device that presumably also fell off. I wonder if someone saw the device and took it for scrap or out of curiosity.
