Seems more like a proactive approach to stopping weather related problems out in the field and cutting the risk of costly maintenance then some low IQ anti green energy advocate's wet conspiracy fever dream come to life.

Yeah good example of what I'm talking about. Dave hasn't been doing jokes for years, he goes up there and just talks about controversial shit, and takes a stance that upsets people.

He used to make actual jokes about touchy subjects just fine, not sure why he's gone in a different direction.

I'm a huge fan of his too.

The objection is to her featuring goblins, which were commonly used in children's books in the period when she was writing (ultimately inspired by George Macdonald in the 19th century; he was rediscovered in the 1980s). Just google "goblin children's book" and see how many hits you get.

I think I know exactly which book was her main influence, as it was popular around Edinburgh a bit before she started writing the HP books - my wife got it for her kids. Nobody's ever accused that book of being antisemitic.
