There are plenty of places to hang in Queens and Brooklyn. All the parties these days are in brooklyn

See that’s what I’m talking about, if I have to take a bus or catch a ride the rest of the way home and it’s late. Then I rather not travel to Manhattan and deal with the subway system. Easier to stay local and then catch that same ride home.

The Guardian Angels don't maintain their own court and law enforcement agencies that are deferred to by secular governmental authority nor do they require secular courts to interpret religious contracts as law.
See: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2014/11/10/outcast-3
Or: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/25/nyregion/orthodox-jewish-divorce-custody-ny.html
This shouldn't happen but it routinely does.

Oh, that makes me so happy to hear! I've been to a few of their Math Encounters talks before. Once it was even a former professor of mine! Every time it's different than I expect and so fascinating.
