Lol how much do you think those are? They are defendants, they aren't paying filing fees.

Preteen for sure. You can see Sage Junior HighSchool across the street in the picture.

That's most Trump/GOP events lately. Look at actual full photos of CPAC. That auditorium was MAYBE 1/3rd full.

I think a lot of you are thinking this was a neonazi or proud boy - I think this is someone trying to call the cops Nazis.
In any event it’s scratched into the sidewalk so hastily I don’t think it was premeditated. Seems like some stupid shit edgy preteens would do without realizing how impactful their actions could be.

Makes sense, but does not work out that way. These communities can be so soul crushing. Rents reflect that. It's really rural America, not many people are rushing to work in maximum security prisons, most people want to work for Apple. Those jobs just don't exist in those communities. There is nothing. Just the prisons.

Maybe if I watch where I’m going hard enough, I can use telekinesis to make vehicles slow down or stop completely when they’re about to hit a pedestrian!
You’re a clown who’s trying too hard. You’re probably from the Midwest and think you’re such an authentic New Yorker for watching where you’re going when you walk.

It really isn't. Learn to walk like a New Yorker and watch where you're going, and you'll be fine.

The city also pays all the court costs for a trial

The city’s default settlements regardless of merit.
Its supposed to be cheaper for the city than paying the legal fees for fighting all these lawsuits but it pretty much sends the message that you will get an “easy” payday by just suing

Reply to comment by theageofnow in In 2019 nyc voted to use congestion pricing to reduce carbon emissions. Three years it’s not implemented but at least the case study required by the National Environmental Protection Act is done…. 4007 pages. by tickleMyBigPoop
How can more stops be added when the truck has already left the warehouse with only what was supposed to be delivered on the route he has. Do you think companies send drivers with extra inventory in hopes that someone will place another order???? You are totally missing the point. There is absolutely no way to get more product onto a truck once said truck has left the warehouse to complete its route unless it’s coming back to home base to reload. There are thousands of businesses that don’t rely on huge trucks to get to them. It’s sad that you don’t realize that atleast 50% of orders placed by businesses don’t require trucks or vans. It’s the little guys with their personal cars doing the running around.

Between bikes, mopeds, electric scooters, cars, trucks, vans, etc. and a large portion of those vehicles not following traffic laws or yielding to pedestrians, yeah it’s fucking dangerous.

They are also the entire legal system.
The city pays for the whole courtroom and trial.
