I managed a team of Google Glass developers - meaning not for Google, but external. Not even they could really find a use for it. And after the first couple of weeks, they wouldn’t even wear it around the office or at their desks.
There are use cases for a HMD but they are very few and far between. Microsoft just axed their division of developers working on their AR division because not even the military, their biggest contract, was finding much use for them.

>Most food gets cold pretty quickly like this
If only there existed some type of notification system to let you know your food was dropped off - maybe something that buzzed, like a buzzer

Not for nothing, but thin crust pizza and pancakes are generally shitty delivery anyway. You’re in nyc, some of this stuff you gotta go out for and eat fresh at the place.
I find when I getting deliver to stick to the stuff that delivers well.

I think up until recently it’s been used in a lot of specialized jobs like shipping and construction, just didn’t hit for the general public.

I feel it Bluetooth is more ubiquitous because they did away with the headphone jack. It makes it harder not to use them when you have to have a dongle to use your headphones.

No one understands qualified immunity and it's hilarious. For example, if a cop did something that is againsts the law, such as an illegal search. And its prooven in a court of law that it was illegal. The victim can then sue the cop personally. Qualified immunity will not protect the cop.
If the cop acted legally, in good faith and did nothing wrong, then they victim can only sue the city due to qualified immunity protecting the cop.
Qualified immunity isnt an absolute shield against any lawsuit. It only covers the cop if they did everything legally.

Watch that Seinfeld episode about delivery and Elaine had to go outside to get her food.

How is the NY economy failing? It's about as good as it ever has been. We are going to go into a fed engineered recession to slow the booming economy.

Add humble and modest. Loved that he was working weekends during the L shutdowns with his rank and file staff in the subways dealing directly with the public.

He made it untenable. He stripped away what he wanted to do from the position, so he would leave. And then he did.
