So I support the side for what tiny sliver of impact I have in order to keep that slight glimmer of potential progress alive. If you are a politician who breaks the law, you should be prosecuted. If someone in a party is being legitimately prosecuted, others in that party shouldn’t interfere. Period. Different politicians across all kinds of systems with different parties and ideological landscapes engage in similar tactics in similar situations.
