I was hit by a car while walking through a crosswalk and the driver took off. I went to the emergency room and my health insurance provider refused to cover the bill. My car insurance provider said they would only cover it if I had the insurance information for the driver that hit me. What options do I have to avoid paying the entire bill myself?
