Second this if you’re looking to visit another city.
DC, Baltimore, NYC, Boston, and the other random smaller cities in between are all only a few hours on Amtrak from 30th street. Gotta love the northeast corridor.

I'm glad Larry took the time to make a tough on crime public statement for this case.

This is a great day trip, especially if you bring a bike. I would park in Washington Crossing thought because the parking is free.

Aaaand they're from Delco. I think one of them is the son of an Upper Darby town councilperson.

Ricketts Glen State park for the waterfalls, I’ve only done the 2.5hr drive for a day trip but could easily find other hiking in the area.

New York, DC, Baltimore. If you ski/snowboard. Poconos, the mountains of PA or NY are also great options. If you’re waiting until the summer, any of the many beaches of NJ, DE, or MD.

We took the water taxi around the harbor and got off at random stops, walked around, got good ice cream. Went to the aquarium and looked at the boats. There are some great restaurants and historical stuff.

Very wild. I've lived here for about 10 years, 3 different blocks, and they all were full of kids. The little side streets are where it's at.

I complain about Philly because I’ve lived in a lot of other cities and know it could be better. Every place has its pros and cons. I wouldn’t be here if there weren’t a lot of good reasons to raise my family here.

That’s great. And I’m sure excellent students come from every district. But the overall quality and safety of the school system isn’t up for debate.

Finger Lakes or VA Wine Country (I'd recommend staying in Leesburg).

I don’t think that’s true. There is still so much infilling to be done in Philadelphia (look at how many parking lots we have across the city).
While we would all love to see every new build being a super-tall, I think we need to fill in those low density gaps first.
Things go more vertical when there’s less horizontal space. There’s still a lot of horizontal space here.

I moved from a small town to north Philly 4 years ago and couldn’t believe how many kids got to roam around, go to the park, go to papi store, usually by themselves! It was like how I imagined kids in the 1950s got to be. It’s nice to see that kids have that type of freedom in such a big city.

Should have to buy victim replacement car, just as good or better, and have to do 200 hours of actual, monitored community service in immediate area of Temple. Cleaning, greening, etc.
