Go to either grindcore house or the tasty and then go to Dickinson square park or Columbus park to eat and drink my coffee. Go to bar bonbon for lunch and hang out in Rittenhouse square. Then for dinner, I'd go to triangle tavern and get some drinks with friends.

Nothing really that I don't already do. I'm a pretty simple guy.

Wake up mid week, I'm off work. Happen to have cash on me so I can get a pistachio croissant from Artisan boulanger patisserie. Take a stroll down the avenue, pop into rivals and get a latte. Chill at the fountain for breakfast.

Take a stroll up to center city, go the scenic route thru all the tiny side streets between 10th and broad between Lombard and spruce. Stop for another coffee at last drop, continue my stroll up towards fittler sq and take a walk on the catwalk to dog watch. Walk along the SRT and contemplate how happy I am not to be stuck in the traffic across the river. Enjoy the view from the south st bridge.

Head back east, probably get more coffee ( I have a problem). Sit and enjoy it while chilling at St Peters church yard ( beautiful flowers in spring and summer).

Start south again and cut up to hit the Italian market on my way home, pop into dibrunos and Claudio's and spend way too much money. Window shop at fante's.

Pop into manatawny for a cheeky cocktail once I get back to the avenue.

Head home, make a drink and a snack. Post up on my stoop. Shoot the shit with my neighbors until the streetlights come on. Head in, make dinner, watch something I like with my husband. Go to bed.

Perfect day

Not sure where you can donate, but my cat had a similar issue. I ended up getting a litterbox that was actually intended for small dogs. It was bigger than a cat litterbox (let her take a nice wide stance), and the front lip was only like 1.5 inches tall (and very wide, useful later on when she stumbled). They don't make the one I had anymore, but don't just limit yourself to cat boxes - a dog box might work too.

You know what pisses me off beyond the car vandalism? All the fucking trash on the ground. I saw it incessantly walking thru Center City Sunday. People drinking Trulys and Bud Lights and throwing it on the fucking pavement. Like literally hordes of people.

What fucking century are we living in that throwing trash on the ground is normalized again???? There are trash cans at every street corner. And you know its a bunch of South Jersey and Delco kids who talk shit about how dirty Philly is, only to come in and litter like pigs.

My wife and I are also leaving Philadelphia in a weeks after living here for 35 years for the Hudson valley. My ideal philly day would be coffee at Ultimo in grad hospital, walk to breakfast at Sam’s morning glory. Takeout sandwiches from John’s roast pork and sit at Penn treaty for a while. Zig zag through the city on a long walk with a fat joint, eventually ending up on passyunk for a few drinks and a pizza at birra. Finally head back to my neighborhood and grab a few old Richmond punches and dinner at cook and shaker, eventually meandering home a happy man. In fact, this is more or less our plan in two weeks.
