I don’t like Cape May in the summer because it’s way too crowded, but it’s nice in April/May. Obviously, too cold to go in the water. But, most of the shops and restaurants are open on the weekends, starting with Easter weekend. Most of the museums and touristy stuff is open and Hotel rates aren’t too bad that time of year either.
