Short term rentals in any form take away from permanent housing

This is one way to announce you don't understand the basics of housing policy. Short term rentals can be bad when they replace permanent housing, not a parking lot. If anything this saves long term housing from conversion to short term so any good urbanist should be happy.

Honestly, there's not really any old architecture to be seen inside. They gutted the rooms when they renovated, it's pretty much all new construction inside and looks like any other modern apartment. The part they kept is the lobby, which you can easily look at just by being buzzed in. The restaurant (Cicala) is very nice and you walk through the lobby if you need the bathroom at any point.

Haddonfield residents would rather turn the place into a toxic waste dump than build affordable or indeed any multi family housing
