This definitely would work well for me, probably you, and the majority of the population, but feels like it could become enabling for people with gambling addiction. It's an excuse to drag the kids there more often since at least they'll be in someone's care. We're talking about the kind of gamblers who wear adult diapers to the casino so they don't have to leave the slot machine to take a piss. One bad news story about how casino daycare enabled someone to blow their rent money and it's a PR nightmare.

On the upside, the regulars' kids will get to know each other really well if they're in casino daycare together, so I guess they can build solidarity/friendships out of it.

Just wanted to say good luck as you navigate this potential diagnosis. Having been through it with a close family member, it's hard. We went through a central jersey hospital for treatment and we were connected with a team of specialists as well as community support group. All can be helpful as you consider immediate needs and future needs for your family.

Easy fix. Casinos operate on cards that monies are applied to from players for use on machines, tables, etc.

So players would use the casino card to check the kid into the daycare.

This is when the clock starts.

The balance tracker sets a "Not to go below" threshold on the balance that meets some set max timeframe for the kid to be in daycare (say 4hrs to keep the child advocates happy).

When the parent hits that amount threshold or time limit, their card freezes and they have to get the kid.

Bucks and Delco also lost population. Montco had a very small gain but basically no change.

I think Greater Center City keeps growing while the outer neighborhoods are losing population.

These year over year estimates are wildly inaccurate for urban areas. Last estimate had to be revised by 14,000 people for Philly. Initial estimate said Philly lost 25k then revised to 11k

This got me thinking. I regularly park with about 12-18 inches between me and the car in front of me (or just far enough for someone to squeeze between the two cars). The idea being to hopefully maximize parking space, maybe fit an extra car in there. I always get mad when I see cars parked with like 5 feet between them when I'm parking, because down a single block you're probably losing 3-4 spots.

But is this a dick move? I often have to shimmy out, going back, forward, back forward, back, out. It doesn't bother me as much as parking blocks away, but maybe other people think it's a dick move.

Surprised you're getting downvoted on this. I guess I could live with the price for a special occasion but why they have to be so aggressive about diets?

Their website says: "Please note: Day-of menu substitutions cannot be accommodated, if you have a life-threatening food allergy please contact us prior to your reservation. Vegan and dairy-free requests cannot be accommodated."

I have a previously-not-life-threatening allergy or sensitivity to shellfish. Between their current menu and their attitude, I certainly wouldn't try my luck. And I guess vegans and vegetarians can take a hike too. An easy way to deal with the panoply of modern diet preferences would be to offer a variety of dishes and allow customers to choose...
