Hey thanks a bunch. What I am learning is that ALS is nasty because the person you know so well essentially changes in front your eyes. It’s horrible for everyone. Obviously the person with the diagnosis gets it the worst. I am a secular humanist (aka an atheist) so its tough to know that good bye means a permanent goodbye. I am envious of religious folks. They have at the least a “promise” of seeing their loved one again.

These are almost always wrong. Google Philadelphia population and look at how the graphs decrease every year until the 10 year census when it jumps up. On the other hand past trends have shown Northeast Philly in particular dropping in population precipitously (my guess is a mix between a generation of children moving out at the same time as well as original homeowners starting to die more quickly based on neighborhood development age) which has been dampening the impact of the consistently huge gains in Greater Center City. It's unfortunate that 2020 was a really shitty year for an urban census and we won't have a solid comprehensive picture of the population from 2011-2029

The Law partners income gets taxed at philadelphia wage tax based on where his employer is located in the city of philadelphia. He could work from home for the rest of eternity, but as long as his employer is located at 1700 market street, he's paying his wage tax.

Also, why the hell would the 76ers move their stadium out of the city they play for due to wage taxes? 76ers org doesn't give a fuck what it's workers pay in wage tax, it cares about putting butts in the seats and getting good players. Players care about wage tax, but income tax in PA is capped at 3.07%, those same ballers will be paying the highest income bracket in NJ which is 10%. Moving stadium to NJ makes no sense based on what you are bringing up as a player will spend substantially more in taxes paying 10.75% in NJ income tax over PA state income tax of 3 and phily wage at 3.79%. Not to mention, Camden has another 1% wage income, so in total 76 players would be paying almost double in tax to play there.

Now, if the city of Camden is going to give crazy tax credits to 76ers org, that's a different thing altogether, but has nothing to do with wage tax.

My favorite ride was the really slow Atlantic City history tour ride. That shit was my jam bc the roller coaster eventually gave me vertigo 🤣

I bet I still have those little teeny tiny dice prizes somewhere in a little keepsake box at my parent's house.

Do you remember- was it in the taj? Or Trop?
