Super clean, nice parks, infrastructure is solid. But the navigation…

This is why I started lifting

So believe it or not that’s not always the case. A lot of the hawks in the city are so acclimated to people that they kind of don’t care about us as long as we aren’t directly on top of them.
I do have a long lens but I didn’t need it for this shot. This guy was unbothered by my presence.

The last time I remember was when we were at the old vet a whole row of crazies behind us were screaming to take Doug Peterson ( they called him Peterman for some reason ) out for Mcnabb to play for the 1st time in Philly.
Finally they put him and the place erupts then he fumbles and they screamed get that Nono word out of here. The vet was a wild place .

It’s very segregated. It sounds like this survey doesn’t have a good way of capturing that point, and so it can appear neighborly when people are actually terrible.

Boston, while ironically deemed a very liberal city, is also a very racist one

My neighbor does the same. Get the plate, call 311, and say you’d like to report an abandoned vehicle on the sidewalk at [location]. They may refer you to 911 but not always

It was nice having the opposite experience of going from Boston to Philly.

I'm also in West and the volume of people who just stop in the street when there are a plethora of open spots is staggering. It's just lazy and selfish. I used to honk, until recently a woman I honked at for being double parked next to an open spot followed me and threatened me. No one is doing anything about it.

I thought the same thing. They also seemed to know about the need for a permit before they put their livelihood into this “business” but was hoping it wouldn’t come up.
Hope is not a strategy and it sounds like they would be better off in Florida. Bye!

... I don't even know where to start.
- you're accepting money from strangers, it's a business transaction. 2) the city government already has most of your important personal data. 3) why are you worried about L&I knowing about where you live but not randos from the internet?

It seems like they go in waves in my neighborhood. They’ll be really on it for a couple weeks and then totally gone for a couple weeks. They actually just towed my partners car on a non-permitted street for seemingly no reason so, while I appreciate your sentiment, I cannot say I am feeling it as well.

Lived in both. Neither feel very neighborly.

I'm sorry, but this person Romero sounds like a self centered jerkoff and an idiot. Like who throws all their eggs into one basket or Airbnb rentals? "I'm looking for a job" yeah ya fuckin dumbass you should've already had one. I do think the regs could be a little better, and it should be easier to get a permit to operate, as long as there's safeguards for complaints etc to protect rowhouse blocks from idiot Airbnb renters.
I do think there's lots of property locked up in this short term game and it will be interesting so see how many properties come on the market because of this. I don't think it will be crazy and affect the market that much, but it will have some impact.

My informal guess is that despite the fact that both cities have a lot of transplants, there are still a lot of people actually from the cities. Gotta imagine that helps cohesion and friendliness.
