Police officers in Philadelphia only have to pass the physical test when they start. After that they can let their fitness slide.

I thought that perhaps if they had to walk a beat instead of sitting in a car all day perhaps they would be in better shape. It’s easier said than done to change the physical fitness standards. They’re having trouble already getting recruits. I don’t think they could replace their fat cops.

Studio Teknik on South St uses Pravana but will also use whatever dye you bring in. Personally after switching to the Pravana colors my hair stays more pigmented longer, and they do a solid job on bleach, tone and color. I have a few different photos on my profile of my color through them if you want to see results.

It’s a block off of Rittenhouse on very desirable real estate, of course units are going to be expensive. There are a lot of reasonably affordable apartments in the city but you can’t really expect them to be located in the highly desirable and expensive neighborhoods. Spoiler alert: they’re not building project homes in Society Hill or Old City either.

I understand the sentiment and agree that folks of average means deserve to afford a place to live but you can’t expect that place to be in a brand new high rise a block off Rittenhouse.

Honestly this will do more to alleviate traffic on 76 than the KOP line ever would have. Other than hooking up the Roosevelt Boulevard Subway and connecting West Chester to Regional Rail, this is easily the most exciting prospective project.

I wish they would include Birdsboro as a stop, and have an extension to Oaks since the rail leads right to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. And once they get this hooked up to Norristown, I'd also like their train to stop at the Wissahickon station on the way to CC too :)
