Also known as Dragon Fruit. They are good in a soft flavor way, they aren't as overtly sweet as most fruits.

This is very purchasing power parity comes into play, is $9.99 very little money to you? Like what would the average wage be in your area to get a better sense of the real cost.
To Americans with even a federal minimum wage of $7.25/hour this is like impossibly cheap.
Though! If someone is making significantly less than that it gives more perspective.

I would probably run up on it and try to topple it and then take a head dive like Scrooge McDuck.

Like Abraham Lincoln used to say: "If you chop your own firewood, it warms you twice."

I'm not felling myself, but I get what you mean. We are felling trees in our yard with a chainsaw, but not for firewood, just for more space and more staggered over the year.

A man that cuts his own wood gets warmed by it 3 times instead of 1. First felling the tree, again cutting and splitting, and again when burning it.

Our local lumber yard sells their scrap ends of oak for $32/ton, so I just filled the truck up and started chopping. I'm only now getting close to needing another load.

People who think their ice engine is more fuel efficient than a literal multi million dollar energy plant are pure comedy to me. I work in automotive and it’d so hard to bite my tongue about it sometimes
