Actually, I have seen similar, if not more extreme, packages in eastern European countries, especially ex-USSR.
I remember that in Ukraine, they were offering, in addition to these, firing a vintage WW2 76.2 mm artillery (using blanks) and driving a T-34 (for 3 km).
I have seen similarly themed "entertainment" also in Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic.

different kind of chicken i imagine. the chibese ones are silkie chickens and only the skin is black, the feathers are white and i think flesh and organs like regular chickens
