I was there in November this year, really amazing place, make sure you check out "palatine hill" too, its right around the corner and is a super nice walk through some awesome ruins.

The village is not called Kat. The village is called Kaktovik. Articles about this bear have misspelled it "Katovik," hence the shortened but incorrect name.

Kaktovik is an Iñupiaq village of around 300 inside the Alaska National Wildlife Refuge. I've been there. Lots of polar bears. Learn about it: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaktovik,_Alaska

Ah dang, I got Covid last year and honestly the only times I felt sick was the day I went to work not realizing I had it. Ironically I got a call from the pharmacy telling me they know it’s a hard time for me and stuff but I really didn’t care bc Covid wasn’t bad at all.
