That’s what happens when you’re not taxed and choose to not help the world be better with your money. You can afford extravagant buildings only known by the wealthy.

If the US taxed churches like businesses it would produce enough money to cure world hunger AND provide housing for all US homeless. But hey at least we have some property tax free cool looking buildings.

But in Canada you can't get those items for 50c. Which is why the conversion rate thing is a bad way of comparing living quality. It's probably close to $5-6 for that in Canada, like in the U.S and min wage is around $7.50. So, you both work an hour to earn enough in your own country for a junk food snack. Which, sucks. It should be like 15m tops for enough money for a soda and chips.

Lol it’s almost like an extreme sport. You’re clinging for dear life to the edge of tide pool rocks where they meet the surf, working in the time between the waves swamping you, and trying to dig the urchins out of the sockets in the rock that they’ve eaten themselves into. Highly recommended. You do need a fishing license though.
