But in Canada you can't get those items for 50c. Which is why the conversion rate thing is a bad way of comparing living quality. It's probably close to $5-6 for that in Canada, like in the U.S and min wage is around $7.50. So, you both work an hour to earn enough in your own country for a junk food snack. Which, sucks. It should be like 15m tops for enough money for a soda and chips.

If bought in my area of the U.S. that would be $2 for the chips and $2.25 for the soda, plus tax. So a little over half an hours work at min wage.

Ornate, Rainbow, Tropical Lobster really any combo of those might work. But chances are you won’t find them in the states. Even where they are from they are rare, not that they’ve been overfished, they’ve always been rare.

Lol it’s almost like an extreme sport. You’re clinging for dear life to the edge of tide pool rocks where they meet the surf, working in the time between the waves swamping you, and trying to dig the urchins out of the sockets in the rock that they’ve eaten themselves into. Highly recommended. You do need a fishing license though.

oh man, I am moving to Canada!
USA level salaries, proper healthcare and the metric system. Sounds like a perfect place to live. At least during the Summer!

That’s what happens when you’re not taxed and choose to not help the world be better with your money. You can afford extravagant buildings only known by the wealthy.
If the US taxed churches like businesses it would produce enough money to cure world hunger AND provide housing for all US homeless. But hey at least we have some property tax free cool looking buildings.
