Is that photo taken in your phones portrait mode? The Blur seems kinda artificial and the buildings on the left side suddenly stop being blurry where the light hits the building. All in all a nice photo but it looks like the buildings to the sides have been edited in with photoshop

That section of the brain is stored in a jar. It's probably just relaxing there once the pressure is gone.

Hey man that's growing up.
Just had a call with an old friend and he happily reminded me about how much of a fucking crazy asshole I was as a teenager.

Here is a much higher quality version of this image. Credit to the photographer, Conor Moore. He used to have a website. When he did, he provided the following caption:
> My favorite and most successful shot to date, the SS City of Adelaide is an exposed wreck of Cockle Bay on Magnetic Island. The wreck was gutted by fire and ran aground on the island in 1916.
> When shooting the SS City of Adelaide, I couldn't believe the brilliance of the mangroves which had taken over the wreck. I like to think that this shot is a representation of how nature can recover from human impact. Creating new ecosystems through wreckage of ships is truly a beautiful sight.
Here it is on Google Maps.

The brain is surprisingly much smaller than the full shape of the head. There is a thick layer between the scalp and the skull, and the thickness of the bone itself. I definitely was shocked the first time I saw a patient with a craniectomy.

It seems that darkness walks and the building in the background is the light that I have been looking for throughout the tour.

You're very kind! If you live (or visit Toronto) and want to take the same shot, I took it at Polson Pier after a fun day at the leash free dog park at Cherry Beach!

There is an incision made in the abdomen and a pocket is made where the skull flap is inserted. Basically the skull sits under the skin. This keeps the bone in an environment that is isotonic and warm, plus the hospital cannot lose the bone.

Looks like a mistake that should have been sent to the slap bracelet factory.
