Mangroves happily can grow there as the ship hull provided some protection to them while they grew.

These are such great quality for personal snapshots for that era. Hope you can share them with historians!

We are looking at the same thing, you're just not getting it.
On the picture on the right, above his ear, you can see patches with no hair. That is scar tissue from the healed wound from the picture on the left. This isn't difficult.

Oh jeez, have you seen pictures of the inside of NYC potable water mains? The solution to pollution is dilution and I absolutely guarantee that water is halogenated as all municipal water in America is. Halogenating the water absolutely would kill any infinitesimal bacteria on that stick. There’s more bacteria at the end of your kitchen tap than there is on the end of that stick.

Inches (2.54cm) are measured not in base 10, but in halves/quarters/eights/etc. I agree it's a dumb system.

That's awesome. I'm sure you have told your kids and friends that your signature (graffiti) has been at the highest point of Toronto for the last few decades

There are lots of great places in Toronto to photograph so you will have a good time. The keys to this photo were a sturdy tripod, an ND filter and luck. It was taken with a Fuji Xh-1 with a 27 second shutter speed. Post processing was with Adobe Lightroom to adjust the exposure and increase vibrancy
