My family started in a new tradition this year. We put up the Christmas tree before Halloween and decorated for Halloween, orange lights and scary ornaments. Then we can just leave it all the way up through the beginning of January.

I dressed up as Mario for an event at my gf's work where the employees brought their families to trick or treat around the office of maybe 3k employees. I realized before I left that Mario drives a red Kart and is from a Japanese video game developer. Well I drive a flashy red Japanese sports car with a baller sound system so I figured I'd lean into it. I put on the Super Mario Bros theme song and blasted it as I pulled up and all the kids went NUTS. I was honestly surprised how many kids wanted a picture with Mario compared to costumes that I thought were way better, but it was cool putting on my best Italian accent and telling kids to "stay in-a school or you'll become a plumber like-a me!" (no disrespect to all you plumbers out there).

Their flavored ones are so hit or miss. The pumpkin ones weren’t bad but not worth eating/buying more than once 😐
