My husband and I are looking to move out of Texas, and all my research is pointing us towards Pittsburgh. But we are both born and raised in the Deep South. One of our biggest reasons to move, aside from politics, is we can’t stand the heat anymore. But in truth, we’ve never lived anywhere that has a real winter. So, I want to visit when your weather is the worst to see if I can handle it.
Give me your grayest, coldest, snowiest, most icy(?), most windy(?) time of year so I can plan our trip to see if we can hack it. I figure it’s gonna probably be January or February maybe, but I’m here for your expert opinion.
I’m hoping to have this be our last move for a very very long time. Possibly forever. So if we’re gonna settle down in Pittsburgh, we gotta be able to handle the weather. I think we’ll be fine, but I also think it’s wise to experience it at least once before committing. Any input is much appreciated! Thank you!
