Hello all. I am an actor working on a feature film next month and the director and I are wanting to use a Pittsburgh accent for this character.
I am reaching out here to see if anyone would be willing to talk with me and possible record my lines so that I may use them as an audio reference. I would be willing to Venmo some cash to those willing to be so generous with their time.
As far specificity we are still open to suggestions. But the current inspiration for the choice stems from this video.
The character is a late 20’s working class Caucasian male. Early 1940’s period.
I’ve never been to Pittsburgh but reading through the community makes we want to go visit. I never knew it was such a beautiful city.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
