Nah, they pretty much aren't.

I mean if you're a criminal yeah they're totally terrible. I get it

There are bad and not as bad areas in every town. You can’t say McKeesport is a crap hole and include the whole city. Where do you live, Beverly Hills?

Wyze cameras. They are cheap, resolution is plenty good enough, simple to set up, and secure enough for regular household. Easy to use app. You don't need to have a subscription fee if you don't want to. You can just add a memory card into the camera and it'll just record on the card in a loop. So if you get home and you see something happen pull the card and then it won't record over it and then you have basically a copy of what happened. A cheap 32 GB card will record a few days on a loop. That's usually plenty enough to catch anything unless you're on like a week long vacation. I have 128 gig card in the camera that faces our driveway and catches our front door. That way on the loop it records it records for about a week plus on that camera. That's kind of the main one.

I use the Blink xt2 cameras with a 16GB USB stick plugged into the sync module, and solar panels to power them. No subscriptions, no changing out batteries, easy phone viewing at any time, two way talking, etc. I love them.

Nah, cops are pretty terrible. There is science to back this from the significantly higher statistics of domestic abuse compared to the general public and that certain authoritative personality types are drawn to police work. Please stop pretending police have remotely good intentions so that we can actually move forward as a society.

Flying to LHR/any other UK airport was always a pain pre-Brexit as the UK was never part of the Schengen zone.

And as someone from a less-sexy part of the EU, moving out to Pittsburgh and having a potentially 3-leg flight to visit family was definitely high on my list of reservations. I haven't gone yet but I'm dreading it.

Church Brew Works, Dirt Doctors (cleaning service in Brighton Heights), and one other I can't remember at the moment.

Edit: Found it. There were two more plantiffs: A Rita's Italian Ice franchise and Storms Restaurant.

Airport Rail.

Reduction in excessively-wide car lanes in favor of literally anything else... [wider] sidewalks, bike lanes, rain gardens.

Better rail connections to other Eastern cities.

Reduced (and enforced) speed limits to 20 mph within the city (although the reduced-width lanes would largely accomplish this automatically).

Making the Wabash Tunnel bikes only and/or restoring pedestrian access through the Liberty Pubes.

Some separated bike paths that aren't just cannibalized rail rights-of-way meandering through the woods but actually more direct routes than the cars get, like in Europe.

Modernized rebirths of the Knoxville and Penn inclines.

Neutering the Bigelow Boulevard meme road by adding speed limits, adding more crossings, narrowing lanes, etc.

Moving 376 somewhere else.
