One of my great great grandfathers and great grandfathers owned a part time excavating company that worked on this project. I heard all of the cool family stories about it growing up

https://pahistoricpreservation.com/spotlight-series-mckees-rocks-mound/?amp=1 Pretty depressing site now. The bluff is there but the mound is gone. The Native remains/artifacts are still sitting in a box in the back of a warehouse somewhere.

Mckees rocks had one. It's a former shell of itself after it was cut down for a train rail and storage depot.

Huge controversy over it which is deserved.

The one down in Moundsville, WV is pretty huge. No idea if the peoples that built that one did any that are closer, though.

I've done this move several times (in both directions). I usually just rented a small U-Haul or borrowed a minivan with the seats out and did it myself.

No they will find and place the corner markers. It’s when you want the whole scaled drawing and stuff that it can get more expensive.

So this is assuming that the spikes are already in the ground?

Did the native Americans in this area even do mounds?
I've never heard of one locally

How much stuff do you have to move? Are you looking for help carrying stuff, or do you just need a large vehicle to physically deliver your stuff? What is your budget? What kind of "stuff" are we talking - appliances, a piano or two, or just boxes with clothes?
You're giving zero information, and even if you called a moving company they'd be asking you the same exact questions.

What pointers are you looking for, exactly? Not many students coming from a single bedroom home have a lot of stuff to move, so I'm not sure what your issue is.

If you think recycling paper products is no better than throwing them in the landfill then you really are an idiot. You'd have the beginnings of a point if the topic here was plastics but you haven't bothered to understand what you're talking about at all.
Cardboard is the most recycled material in the US and over 90% is recycled each year. This rate has been above 80% since 2009. It is the material with the strongest argument for recycling!

Oh yea I'll make sure to go to the factory and have my goods packaged in reusable packaging instead of cardboard. Cardboard is extremely recyclable and the actual recycling rate is pretty good. If you can't differentiate between that and other types then you've got no business telling other people how to act on this topic.

Yeah, I’d say i don’t think we will ever see that plant come to fruition. They did all the ground work to prep for it. When PTTGCA’s investment partner Daelim Chemical USA of South Korea withdrew everything kind of went cold. Nothing new has really been reported on in the last year or so.

>Or, you could find a tree company that won't ask questions and just have them come out, say they're all on your land
This is a fantastic way to have something stupid happen, like a person get injured or something insignificant get broken, and now insurance is involved and everything costs 1000x more.
Or, you know, a nosy neighbor sees that you've hired an unlicensed contractor, and calls the police. Which has happened in our neighborhood, because it's full of old people who have nothing better to do than be nebby about other people's shit.
Because, you know, if you remove a tree that isn't yours, you will be successfully sued and liable for monetary damages.
