Tranc. that shit is nasty. It'll cause massive skin ulcers. It also is unable to be reversed, so even if you hit them with narcan, the person will still stay in a stupor because tranc doesn't hit opioid receptors. It's all over Philly and it's turned Kensington into a nightmare (by way of Puerto Rico, where it's been used for years).
It's added into heroin/fentanyl to increase the high.
It's also a legal, non-controlled substance used in vet anesthesia, which is where it's being diverted from. The DEA needs to schedule this med ASAP.

Hey, buddy, get your story straight - it was GUAC, not salsa. Salsa's too cheap for him to complain about even when he's pretending he's not a billionaire from his scams.
And I dip chips in my salsa, and put guac on my nachos. Actually put salsa on my nachos too.
Now I want nachos.

Of course not. It’s not last minute. The planned event is in May and I am inquiring as of late March, 2023. It just seems like most restaurants in the Pittsburgh area cannot handle a group this size, which is fairly common in most metropolitan areas like Boston or NYC.

This was because I mentioned ceviche earlier in the week, right?

Mine must be the only family in town that wasn't impressed with SD's kielbasa. It wasn't bad, but we didn't think it lived up to the hype. I mean if it was in our neighborhood, we might get it once in a while. But we don't feel like it's worth the hassle, or the price.

Definitely unsung heroes. Constant assess to electricity is way up there on the take for granted list. Maybe only behind clean water.

Absolutely, 30 people is not a last minute plan. That needs extra staff and extra charge.

I'm about to turn 46 years old, have a PhD, and I never heard of the word 'crudite' until last year.

I really really hope OP was not talking about rolling up to a restaurant today with 30 people and expecting to get seated. I'd want a month notice or more for that

As someone who worked in food service, nowhere.
Seriously, a 30 person group sucks in a most extreme way. Most "brunch" locations don't even seat that many total.
You need a catering company or to pay and reserve an entire location for your event.

I would definitely give Francis Restaurant a call. The upstairs bar (Franks) is the same business and shared kitchen and might be great for that size group.
