Shot in raw using highlight weighted metering to better preserve the highlights in the sky. For editing I used lightroom. Increased the exposure and shadows to bring the bridge and buildings out again. For colors used the original white balance it was shot at and slightly increased the saturation and vibrance to bring out the yellow bridge and red building.

There's a Hoss' in Belle Vernon that my parents and I often go to when I drive down to visit them (they moved the Belle Vernon several years ago).

I actually like it there. Their "cleaver cut" is sorta like a filet and really good for the price.

The place is literally like stepping back in time 30 if not 40 years; it's amazing in that regard.

They seem to do good business there; always pretty busy when we go.

Near the stadium, the North shore is pretty decent for groups. A short walk away is the northside which has tons of smaller places that you can easily hop to.

Downtown isn't too bad either to hop for a group and it's an easy walk across the bridge to the stadium.

If you want a crazy atmosphere; the Southside is the place to be on Friday/Saturday night.

If you want the upscale area, Shadyside is your best bet to uber to.

Today is actually open sign up day for McKeesport Community Garden. You put $30 down for a bed, and you get $10 back at the end of the season.

They have regular work partnership days, they ask you to try and attend a few each season, and you're expected to attend two meetings a year.

If you can't make it out there today message them on Facebook

The problem might be that kids (my kids at least) rarely wear pants with a zipper. I’m walking around in the same pair of jeans or dockers all week. They’re wearing shorts or these stretchy nice sweatpants things with no zipper.

The times they are a changin.

>Mike Parker, spokesman for the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, said that soon after hearing the initial complaints, the agency agreed to deal with the unattended craft whether it bore legal responsibility or not. In fact, in most cases the Pennsylvania Code places the burden of salvaging abandoned boats on Fish and Boat.

It's a state agency that has stepped up and trying to deal with it, while everybody else is saying "not our problem".

Crafton has a nice-size community garden and always welcomed volunteers, although most of the produce is donated to the Crafton-Ingram food bank. Not sure if you’re looking specifically for one where you keep some of the harvest.
