Supply chain issues/labor shortages/back logs at the ports due to the pandemic where all reasonable explanations that I could understand. I know labor can still be an issue but transportation wise everything is in a much better place. Im just not so sure this is only a labor issue.

Only legit if it’s made in a huge crock pot from the VFW.

Giant Eagle has the Isalys BBQ Sauce. In my local store it is near the deli.

Isleys chipped ham plus Open Pit BBQ sauce. Warm it up and stick on a hamburger bun.
If that doesn't say Pittsburgh, you ain't real Pittsburgh.

Im irate. I was just in Giant Eagle, which I generally try to avoid, and the bags of Birdseye frozen veggies were $3+. Goes for $1.23-$2.50 at Walmart.

I don’t know of any place that sells it pre-made. It’s basically chipped chopped ham cooked in barbecue sauce and served on a bun. There are variations in how people make it, though. Some people add onions, pickle relish, etc.
So ask grandma what her recipe is and make it for her.

That stuff is so loaded with preservatives it should keep until the next millennium. Three months ain’t diddly.

Yep, but make sure it is chipped chopped ham. Sizzle that up for a bit pure yummy.

Yeah, I recall that they specifically had a significant, multi-year grant from Verizon for the ipads and techlab stuff. But it was Northside (and maybe one other school) exclusive.

Go to GE- isalys chipped ham is pretty inexpensive. Get some good buns. Make your OWN bbq sauce. Add ham. BOOM.
Some are a fan of relish, I am not.

I've noticed that the salad mix i usually get as well as other produce being at or close to the expiration date my past few trips there. I stopped shopping at Aldi because everything spoiled so quickly. Seems to be an issue everywhere.

It's a "best by" date not an "you'll die if you eat it after" date.

My recommendation is to skip the warranty. Go take a walk around Home Depot of Lowes, and see what your money can buy you. There are plenty of options to replace almost any individual appliance for less than $940, and you can probably find something for under $600.
When I bought my house a decade ago, it came with a one-year home warranty paid for by the seller. I have no idea what they paid for it, but my hot water tank started leaking within the period and it still cost over $400 to replace. The warranty company told us which local plumber we could use, so there was no shopping around, and only the tank was covered. They charged for the expansion tank, flue modifications, permitting, haul away, etc. I think you'd be better off putting that money somewhere where you can make a few bucks in interest, maybe an online savings account as they usually pay a bit better and there are a few extra hurdles in obtaining the money which would make you less likely to spend it elsewhere.

This is the right answer. Drop the home warranty, save your money. Home warranties are notoriously bad value.

Islay’s chipped ham with Islay’s bbq sauce. Sold at every Giant Iggle and Shop n Save in the area but ya gotta buy it at the deli and make it yourself.
Im not from the area originally but I found it revolting. The ham is the most disgusting fatty mechanically separated and put back together weird hunk of nope Ive ever seen. And I come from the land of pork roll (chefs kiss) and scrapple (everything but the oink). The second ingredient in Islay’s bbq sauce is high fructose corn syrup and the fourth ingredient is corn syrup, to give you an idea.
