I'm seeding and my yard is very soft and wet, so no mowing yet, plus the downed tree is a big deterrent.

If you knew Luke then, you probably knew me. We were really inseparable high school and post college for me - I lived with him at helter shelter and spent more time in Meghan’s regal than anyone should’ve - and once again, this whole thing doesn’t surprise me at all. There’s a reason I haven’t talked to him in years.
And congratulations to you too! Three years booze and blow free in June!

Reply to Question: Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to sell used DVDs & Blurays? by -Hot-Toddy-
I was offended with Half Price Books the last time I went to sell DVD's and will be donating them to the public libraries from now on to either lend to patrons or sell during their fundraisers, would make me feel much better than being offered something around 25 cents each DVD.

👍🏻 I’m sure we’re at least aware of each other then. Super small world sometimes. Late in high school, and since, my friend groups are of Indiana grads anyway. Most a year younger than us. Thane H., Ken W., Josh S., others in that circle. Another circle of guys a few years younger, from Indiana, as well.
Also, huge congrats on sobriety. Not an easy thing, ever. I celebrated six years this year.

My realtor negotiated one year paid by the seller as part of our home purchase. Our furnace died in the first six months and the home warranty did end up covering about 2k of the cost to replace it. But - I didn't renew when the time came.

Compensation wise I think it is similar. The Exchange may try to push the store credit on you. Half Price Books will give you a cash offer and that's it. Plus any items they don't want to sell they will donate.

Idk, I turned off the community setting and it keeps crashing. I messaged the mods about the banner. Hopefully that works. Thanks for your efforts

The melee recreates medieval tournament fighting where, essentially if you go down you may as well be dead hence the lack of much ground fighting. (Similar to an ancient battlefield where going down to the ground likely means death).
We do train limited ground grappling. But nothing as deep as something like bjj.

There IS a lot of good in punk. But no matter how small you break down society, if it can be described as a community, you’re gonna have elements that don’t actually give a damn about…anything but themselves. Or rather their own vision of themselves. It seems that’s just part of humanity, maybe. You will always have infiltrators.

It all depends. You have 3 different taxing authorities that have to adjust their millage.
For some there could be a big swing for County but not much for school. Others could see a big swing in school but not County.
It all comes down to how an individual property’s value compares in relative terms to the mix of values within each of those 3 taxing entities.
The line they like to throw out there is a 1/3 will go up, 1/3 down and 1/3 the same- but that is way oversimplifying things.

I’m not gonna promote his bands, especially here. However, punk stuff. “Noisecore” or wtfe. I listen to punk, I’ve described myself as a punk. But I couldn’t really listen to the stuff he put out. I was really more into stuff like Ska and Folk punk, anyway. But it really was just…noise. Or maybe I’m just a lot older than my 33 years. 😅

Thanks for all the info, I have a lot on my plate right now but I'm interested for the future.

Keeping your grass super long is basically an invitation for snakes and ticks which isn't great if you have a dog.

There's a newish one in Lebanon Shops that's decent: https://goo.gl/maps/5zqQNtoDU1F7pFP57
They don't have a wide variety, but the folks in there are really nice, and could likely get you what you need if you ask. It's nothing like Lotus, but they are still somewhat new, and slowly growing their inventory.
