Check out the canoe shop in Ridgway. I think its called Lazy River. It's only a little ways north and is on the Clarion River. Been a few years but we used to do day and weekend trips. They'll come pick you up and drive you back up to the shop when you take out.

Used to be you could jump on the Turnpike and get food all night at the rest areas. Now even that’s gone. Starbucks couldn’t even get enough staff to remain open at at least two locations during regular hours (I travel statewide all the time) and closed. The ones that are open sometimes often have only one employee and they close early.

Ah yes... saw the remark about snow plows. If you hate the SUV as some liberals do, do NOT move here. Probably 3 out of 4 own one even if it isn't their every day drive. It is just a mater of survival. Honda CRV, Subaru, Jeep, H3, gotta have one.

I saw a BMW with bald tires holding up a line of cars behind them and laughed. Car payment keeping you from buying good tires?

I had to get out of my plumbing truck and push a Prius out of their parking spot. Good tires, just no guts.

I worked with a guy who had season tickets with his roommate. The roommate got a new job and it caused him to be unable to attend at least 30 games that season. The deal was if I drove and paid for parking, I could use the extra ticket. I found some street parking downtown that was free after 6, so I paid basically nothing to go to 30 games that season. I miss the Arena, but I also remember saying I couldn’t wait for a new building.
