Thank you for hitting on the magic keywords to search. I was using 376 and not Squirrel Hill tunnel.

Hey, remember when a bunch of people who worked on trains tried to strike to bring attention to this issue? If I remember correctly, The Most Progressive President Of My Lifetime told them to shut the fuck up and go back to work.

"No big deal, this happens all the time" I assure myself as vinyl chloride floods out of a derailed tanker and into my back yard.

Nobody wants to work in a shitty industry serving demanding people to make shit money during a mass death event. And I can't say I blame them.

wait, Bob Weir lived with Neal Cassady as a teenager? and learned how to drive from him? that's pretty sick.

> after COVID
It isn't "after COVID", and a good indicator of that is that so many of these places are still operating on reduced hours, hope this helps.

That Angola rest stop is legendary. Went to Rochester several times a year growing up and probably from age 3-8 I would stand on the overpass for 15 minutes and just watch trucks go under me lol

South Side is no worse today than it was a decade or two ago. It's always had a lot of weirdos. And that's fine.

luckily they mostly just carry like coal or scrap metal. there was one by my house a few years ago, took them ages to clean up because there was limited access.

Well damn way to lay it out my guy I appreciate the input. I looked into barcadia and there were less than stellar reviews I'll give shorty's a better look when I type it in I get 2 results I'm not sure which is correct (I'm not from the burgh) and D&B was also a thought but thank you for the quick tidbits I'll use them wisely

It took three seconds to google “squirrel hill tunnel crash” and find out that there were no injuries reported.

Gracias! Since you may favor the Mexicali Blues and enjoy trivia, Neal (38 y.o) taught his teenaged roommate Bob Weir (18) how to drive. Drivers Ed ala Dean Moriarty.

Have you been to Sheetz lately? That shit costs as much as a sit down dinner, and has for years now.

I’m also curious about redbank. I’ve bike the trail a bunch, and Ive been trying to float it for smallmouth bass fishing. The section between the mouth and new Bethlehem is gorgeous and some sections seem pretty remote. Looks like it would be a lot of fun.

I was in the Baltimore area a few weeks ago, and they were saying the same thing. Few places are open after 10:00 or 11:00 anymore there too.

Exactly, my fam is split between roc and pit. Angola as a kid was always the spot to have a picnic lunch and go pretend to play frogger on the overpass lol. Really depressing to see they killed it
